Calling for the Stars

Quote o' the day:
"Thank you for voting for Drew and Cheryl!!!! I voted for Drew and Cheryl!!! Oh...now it's busy. Ooooh! I did it again!!!" -Lisa Myrick

Oh my gosh, that was ah-may-zing! If you guys don't watch Dancing with the Stars, you are missing out for sure. Tonight was just amazing. I will be so extremely mad if Jerry Rice wins over Drew or Stacy. He so does not deserve it and I'm pretty mad that he's even still on the show. I really want Drew to win. My mom has been watching the show since day one and I recently joined her and we made it our Thursday night time for the last month or so. Before tonight, which was the final show you could vote on, Mom never really cared about voting because the people that we liked always stayed on anyway. But after last week's tragedy of Lisa getting kicked off instead of Jerry, we had to vote tonight. We are so scared that Jerry might win, and only because of his football fan base, because he just doesn't deserve to win. I'm sorry, but he's just not as good of a dancer as Stacy or Drew. So we tried for forever to get through to vote and I went online and used every e-mail address to our family's name and voted while my mom tried to call. All of a sudden she got through and she just started yelling "Thank you for voting for Drew and Cheryl!!!! I voted for Drew and Cheryl!!!" It was pretty much the funniest thing ever because I haven't seen her so excited in quite some time. Wow. So Sunday at 8 is the final results show where we find out who wins. If Jerry wins, I'm going to hurt someone. Go Drew!

It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

Wow. Life. Busy. No time to blog lately. Really. And for once, I actually have stuff to talk about. But now I kind of forget it all, because it's been so long. Let's see. Calyn and I went with Wesley to the MSM retreat two weekend's ago. It was really good. We met a bunch of new people which is good. We played an awesome game of ultimate. And the worship was amazing. The speaker was really good. He talked about prayer, why we should do it more, and how we can enjoy it more. We had a lot of good prayer time and it was just a good weekend to spend some time with God. I guess Calyn posted pictures? I forget.
In other news, we got a puppy! He's a Kyi-Leo, he's three months old, and we named him Dusty. He's pretty much the cutest thing ever and he loves people.

Well, that's honestly all that I can say to summarize the last two weeks other than I've been really busy and haven't gotten as much sleep as I normally do, so I've been pretty tired. Well, it's now 2:47 am and here I still am, so I should go. Oh yeah, and the title: the weather was gorgeous today!

Day of the Hog of Ground

Wow, it's late. I had been doing pretty well with getting to bed by midnight, too. Oh well. Just felt like saying hey, but I have nothing all that exciting to say, other than I'm leaving to go to Leesburg for the MSM retreat with Wesley tomorrow. So, ya, I'll be gone until Sunday afternoon. Ya know, my grandma lives in Leesburg and when I told Brandon that I was going there this weekend he was like "Oh, you could visit Mimi!" and I was like, "No, Brandon. It's not like I'm going by myself. We have planned activities, you know?" and so he goes, "Well, just tell her to meet you guys somewhere for lunch." and I said, "Yeah, great idea, Brandon. I've known these people for like 2 weeks and I'm just gonna be like, 'Oh my grandma's eating lunch with us. Everyone meet my grandma!'" Yeah, I don't think so. But it was funny, so I wanted to share that with ya'll. Okay, goodnight, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite!

Oh, and Happy Groundhog Day? Cause I definitely forgot.
