Inside My Head: It's normally a pretty scary place to be, but it does promise to be quite amusing and sometimes even funny...

I'm alive!

Hey guys! Our email just started working two days ago so I haven't
been able to write. Let's see, what's happened since I wrote last?
Ummm...seven of us got stuck in the elevator in the apartment building
we were staying at before camp for like 30 minutes. That was really
fun and funny. Camp one is almost over and the South Carolina team
leaves in a few days. I'm really sad about that because they are the
best and I love all of them so much. I really don't want them to
leave. Most of team two arrived today. It's going to be pretty
small. Three people came in today, two more come tomorrow because
they missed their flight somewhere, one was already in Ukraine and
came in today, and three from this camp are staying for camp two. It
should be good, and I get to lead drama next week, so I'm excited
about that.

Calyn says, "Hello walls. Do you want me to type?" to which I said,
"No, I just hate this keyboard." I asked her to tell you something
cool.
Calyn: "Something cool. What's something cool that happened today?
Oh! I got a bouquet of hair! Amanda cut Roma's hair today and he
walked onto the Rec Field and gave me a bouquet of his hair. It was
very exciting."
Roma says, "I have a stapler and I'm not afraid to use it."
Okay, thanks guys. That was great.
Calyn wants you all to know that Roma found a staple in his chicken at
lunch the other day. We hypothesize that that is how they killed the
chicken. We were going to say something else but it's too late and it
is gone. That is all. The end. Email me. Now.

I Made It

Well, I made it to Ukraine.  There were a few times when I thought I wouldn't, but I'm here.  It started with a bomb scare at the Tallahassee airport that put the flight behind, but I made the flight.  Then I met up with the other 6 people on summer staff that weren't in Ukraine yet in Atlanta.  Our flight there was delayed because of weather and we got kind of scared because we were already going to be cutting it close to catch our flight in New York.  When we got to New York we only had like 20 minutes before the flight left but when we got off the flight they told us it was closed and they had already made arrangements for us.  So they sent us to Milan, Italy because the next flight out of NY was two days later.  So we went to Italy, arrived there when we were supposed to be arriving in Ukraine, had a three hour layover there and then got on the plane to Kiev.  We got in about 5:30 pm on Tuesday and have just been sleeping and meeting with the Radooga directors today.  Well, we move to camp on Friday, but for now we're living in an apartment that is really nice.  I'll try to update again soon, but I can't promise anything. :o)

Leaving

I know, I know, it's been forever. The sad thing is I actually had stuff to post about. But I don't remember any of them right now, so that's not important. Basically, this is all you need to know: 1) We re-did my room 2-ish weeks ago and it's just amazing and 2) I get on a plane to leave for Ukraine for 2 months in less than 11 hours. So, I will most likely be updating this quite a bit so I can let everyone know what's going on over in Kiev. For those who don't know, I'll be working at a Christian English language camp, the same one I went to last year for two weeks. So, I'm really exctied, but I still have things I need to do before I can go to sleep, so I'm afraid this must be short. Please be praying for me. I'm not real comfortable navigating airports by myself, so please pray for that.

I get to see Calyn in less than 2 days!
